Logos are all around us.  To the general public they serve as an instant reminder of your company or product; to you the client they are on the point of recognition on which your brand hangs; and to us they represent the challenge of incorporating our clients ideologies into one single graphic.

The digital age has brought a sense of immediacy and we are now being asked to churn out logos as if there were a few lines of HTML code.  It is a mistake to think that creating a company or product identity is a quick and easy process.  Unlike a website it's a permanent piece of work that needs to withstand time; not least because it will probably be printed on letterheads, business cards and so on.
